Awards & Recognition

I am very humbled and honored to have my work published in magazines all over the world including Australia, Japan, France, Italy, Norway and Sweden to name a few!  This past winter the background photo here won 3rd place in a prestigious international contest for Creative Portrait!  Here is the link:  http://www.agwpja.com/photography-contests/42-agwpja-q4-2010/08-creative-portrait.html#3  I am a member of the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (AGWPJA) and will continue to enter photos in hope of winning more awards!  I only had about 20 minutes after the wedding to set up a few shots, it was sprinkling and threatening to rain.  Joram and Katelyn were so were incredible and fun to work with... they were elated to see that one of their photos ended up winning an award.  HDR photography is something I love to shoot and takes a bit of time to perfect.  Most HDR photos look unappealing and over edited, I do my best to make them look as stunning and real as possible!  It's not for everybody, but most people can't stop looking twice!
